Find door code for 1999 crown Victoria of

Sometimes people writ the number in all sorts of odd place. You can try to read it on the module under dash drivers side. It has a bar code, and the default numbers. A dentist's mirror might help, it's intentionally not in plain sight. Or if all else fails, the factory default numbers are stored in the PCM and a dealer can fetch them. Then you can set you own code, but the default code will always work Sometimes they can find the code from the VIN but dealers are the only place with that data-base. You can try with a phone call, but usually they want money, and proof of ownership
