no heat in the front of the cabin the back vents are hot. Blend door issue?

The rear vents in the cabin blow hot air but the front vents are cool. I assume they all
work off of the same heater core? if thats the case then is my next step this dreaded
blend door that seems to be a common problem? I've pretty much narrowed it down to
that but was just looking for any other ideas or tips.

does it heat up eventually as you drive
it does get a little warm but never hot enough to keep the feet warm or thaw the windshield.
have yyou checked the antifreeze
yep. that and thermostat was my first step. i honestly didn't think that was the problem because of being hot in the back but not in front but i started there anyway.
does your control knob in the front work on all its settings
Check the vacuum lines and linkage to be sure trap doors are working correctly.
This sounds like my problem as well I have a 1998 expedition. Where are the vacuum lines and linkage to be sure a trap door is working correctly?
