Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After driving it about 30 miles  to work my
oil pressure drops to 0 .checked the oil oil
level none on the stick. I put 1/2 gal to top it
off. O. The way home it dropped again. No
oil on the ground, truck not smoking, tail
pipe is dry, no oil under the trk. Where is the
oil going? What might be causing this?
Thanks for the help and info.

Oil does not just vanish, there are a few things to check, your coolant, your exhaust, and front and rear seal in engine, check your tail pipe for raw oil sute by taking a rag and wiping inside tail pipe, gas sute will wipe off your finger which is normal in the exhaust, but oil sute will not wipe of your finger.

check oil before you start engine. for accurate reading. if ran, wait 15 min while its off and check it.
