05 Yukon XL oil pressure low at idle when cold only

My 05 Yukon is having a low oil pressure at idle when it is cold. Once it warms up, the oil pressure stays up around 40. The dealer replaced the sender unit but did not fix it.

You need to check oil pressure with manual gauge and determine if in fact pressure is low. Test when cold til it warms up and note the difference in pressure

There is the infamous oil sensor screen that plugs up.

Took my 2007 Yukon XL to the dealer for the same problem. They said it was the cam shaft bearings and would need a whole new engine!
