Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have a 2003 gmc sierra 1500 that had a no crank issues out of no where.
truck wont start nothing, turn key, nothing had electrical power i.e. battery is
good, had to have it towed to dealer. they have had it for 3 days and it starts
right up when trying to get it to acted up. does anyone think its the ignition
sensor, crank sensor, started, a security issue, or electrical?

My first two suspects would be the starter and the neutral safety switch, in that order. Personally I'd pick up the vehicle and wait for it to act up again. Then try starting it in neutral. If it still refuses to start, hit the starter a few times with a hammer. If that gets you going it's definitely the starter. If putting the shifter in neutral gets you going, it's the neutral safety switch. Hope that helps! Jim
