If you have spark and fuel pressure you still need compression and fuel injector pulse. Which engine does the Ranger have?

Does it have sufficient fuel pressure as in...did you measure the fuel pressure? Try squirting a little bit of starting fluid in the intake to see if it fires. If it does it is a fuel pressure or injector pulse issue.
