Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed the cylinder head because the timing belt broke and bent two sets of
lifters.  So opted for a new head.  Reved high and found PVC hose to the
intake was broken.  Is the high rev normal until it relearns the idle again?

did you replace the broken pcv hose? the high rev is from a vac leak, idle will correct itself as soon as the leak is fixed
