Where is the block heater cord

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was given a 1988 lincoln town car and am told that it definately has a block heater. I cannot for the life of me find the cord. Any ideas?

There is no cord hanging from the block. There is a receptacle to plug one in on the block
