truck keeps stalling like its not getting fuel like its choking its self out

after replaceing
the fuel filter we found that i wasnt getting fuel pressure so changed the fuel pressure
regulator but it is still doing the same thing acting like its not getting any fuel but i can still
hear the fuel pump kicking on

Check fuel pressure at fuel rail. Even if pump is working does not mean that its pumping good enough to give you the fuel pressure you need.

Yes pump for sure. Haven't been around a fuel pump change on a small truck yet. It is a pain on the 1/2 tons. Advise. Hose all gravel off of the top of the tank. Take the driveshaft out. Usually a weak pump can still move fuel it just cannot build pressure. I take the filter out and slip on a hose and let the pump drain the tank into a pail. Makes the tank alot easier to handle. 2000 should have the quickconnect fuel lines you'll need the cheap separation tools.
