Rear end

Asked by Hughson Dec 28, 2018 at 11:42 PM about the 1999 GMC Jimmy

Question type: Car Customization

I'm looking at getting a locker for the rear end , going to
start turning it into a snow wheeling truck .... So questions
are what would be a good long term locker ??

Next Im curious of which rear end I have , I have disc
brakes , 3.73 gears but for some reason I'm pretty sure the
shop said I have the 7.25" rear end , how do I go about
figuring that out ??

Depends on your preferences. An ARB may be the ultimate locker but there are others. https://www.4wheelparts.com/a/drivetrain-buyers-guide-differentials
