what can cause the PCM fuse to blow? and what are the possible causes the car would stop generating sparks at the plugs?

car stopped running while stopped at a red light.  noticed maxi fuse blown. replaced and blew again. ( fuse services: Powertrain Control Module)  also, pulled spark plug wire from plug and  there were no sparks while cranking the engine.

This is no good. Your PCM is probably fried. And no the car wont do squat without it. No spark, no fuel, no vroom vroom. Have it checked out by a mechanic that knows electrical.
