can i lubricate 1997 jimmy wheel bearings through the ABS sensor ports?

Asked by timinthehills May 22, 2010 at 03:26 PM about the 1997 GMC Jimmy

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The ABS sensors screw into the hubs in a position that would appear to be close to the bearing location. Does the hole pass through the body of the hubs and into an area appropriate for greasing the hubs without stripping down the units? If this would work are there grease nipples that would match the sensor thread?
