Ok I just bout a truck an 89 gmc Sierra and the guy didn't know what type of engine was in it all he could tell me was the fuel injected motor that was in it shot so he got it replaced and put a 350 edlebrook carborator. Ok we'll my actual question is how do I actually tell what kinda motor the guy had put in it 5 Answers

I have a 2001 GMC 1500. Sometimes when applying brakes,my brakes pulses,all the way to the foor and doesn't want to stop me. No lights are on. And no code are coming up. Have new brakes. 2 Answers
Truck is in very good shape. Only 75000 miles. Could it be the master cylinder? Only done this 5 times. But peddle go,s all the way to floor. In about 3 pulse.
