95 GMC Vandura Engine won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 95 GMC Vandura conversion van. It will start sometimes but recently
when I will go to start it I will turn the key and nothing happens. The battery
comes on but there is no noise at all to indicate that the car is trying to start.
Could it be the starter? or something battery related?

did you check ?/ clean cables???? grounds??? charge/load test it??? before we even get to a starter problem..
A lot of things it could be- you have to get down and dirty and diagnose it- or pay somebody to do it-
Not paying someone to do it and dont mind getting down and dirty. Just need to figure it out
Everything was cleaned and replaced the tps. New air filter as well.

Check posts n make sure they are clean n make sure cell r full..also check for ampage with tester..if it anit getting the right cranking amps then it wont crank..so the trick to get it started is thicker jumping cables.once it starts.cut it off.then try to start again.van should be cold when u start it.to make a good call..then afther the second try once it starts let it run for 30 to 45 mins.enough time for the engine to run hot if it is doing so,u will know because it will not start.then i would start with checking to see if the temosat need to be replace.cheapest parts first..u will be better off that way..if it is fine then i would check to see if it was the water pump is working..last but not least alternater.take off and bring to nearest shop n have it tested.good luck.oyea i for got to tell u i owen 2 ,94 vandura 5.7 n a 95 vandora 5.7..n just sold my first one which was the same i have right now..all three had the same problems..semi jumper cables will start it up every time..let me know how it goes
That just started happening to me today! Literally. 91 5.7 v8. It says batteries good...go to turn it, nothing, not even a sound, but gauges say batteries good. Then the second someone helps me jump it, it fires up instantly and runs like a dream. The guy at autozone said to tap the starter underneath a couple times with a hammer? If it ain’t that try starting it in neutral? And then from there he said some other stuff but it got jumped the first initial time round and worked great even would start up just like normal for most the day then boom back to zero outta knowhere. Frustrating I wish I knew exactly what to do to stop it
