What should I do to increase my 1993 GMC SIERRA horsepower ? ( I just have 500$ dollar )

a tune up, carb, exhaust that would help a little bit.

wow people tell u a carb well it is fuel injected.start with plugs,wires, kn filter,aftermarket chip.

If your engine has ever over heated as mine did, I replaced my ?catalytic? converter. made a big difference!

unfortunatly 500 dollars wont get u much these days, my suggestion is to continue to save til u hit the 1500 dollar mark that way you can do the following. cat back exhaust (try to find a manderal bent kit if possible) flowmaster, magnaflow and thrush seem to be the most popular check youtube for sounds on your truck if you wish, (ian ur almost correct, its actually TBI system, not a full fuel injection system but still same principle on fuel delivery), run a good fuel system treatment on the truck (cleans all the carbon based material in the intake and throttle body sprayers and helps them perform better), next get a k&n filter for it (doing one or the other (ie exhaust) will defeat ur overall goal of gaining hp, gotta have good air flow coming in and out. a full tune up is deff a great suggestion u can gain 5 to 10hp just by the tune up alone. and a computer chip any performance shop should be able to get their hands on one for you ( probable gains if you have k&n filter, exhaust, and tune up done is around the 50-80 hp depending the exhaust u go with and tune up parts quality) i would also recomend running high test fuel (91 octane rating) for better fuel milage and better fuel burn ( in ontario where im from high test is going for $1.30 - $1.50 per litre not sure wat that work out to for the states) the exhaust is gunna roughly run you 500 - 800 bux depending on kit you buy K&n filter kit approx 50 -100 bux tune up (if done yourself) 100 - 150 bux plugs wires cap and rotor. hope this helps, if you decide to go even deeper into ur pockets do the following complete computer retune (has to be done on a dyno) approx 100 bux and hr or whatever shop labour rate is where your having it done headers ( try to find equal length or a replacement header) or try a rear diff gear and pinion change not sure wat stock is but 3.73 seem to be most popular ( wont increase hp but with increase speed and torque)

well an exhaust , new air intake, headers a computer chip you choose . but i would save my money and buy a much faster engine such as the LS series engines from a local salvage yard near you for $2000 at the most or even $500 with little milage and much life in the.

Throttle body spacer and aftermarket cold air intake, def. New pugs if needed, all this other stuff is exaggerated bullshit
