ok my 1992 gmc sierra 1500 5.7L is leaking transmission fluid its a 2 wheel drive automatic.. it looks like its coming from transmission to front u joint and is leaking out of front u joint... any ideas what it could be its my first truck and I have no idea what to do

U-Joints dont have any fluid. They do have grease in them. The best way to find a leak is to clean the entire area first, drive the vehicle a short distance at relatively low speed, then check the area again. Fluid leaks tend to fan out and disperse so finding the original source without cleaning first is difficult. Make sure you find the highest point of leakage. Thats usually where the problem is.

Same problem here replaced tailshaft seal and still leaking out u joint..
