Replaced battery but car dead. Can't lift out battery fuse - press either side that hold it in but it won't lift out - help please

Am spraying AeroKoil on it again and leaving for some time - hope this might work.

Hurrah! this worked like a charm, HOWEVER, it seems to be o.k.! The car is still dead - no lights come on inside either.... any other suggestions please. I am in my 70's and my husband is in his 80's!
