Have them check the C/V halfshaft. Also it could possibly be motor or transmission mount.

The Calipers might be the problem...its being held by two bolts that gets worn after time, jack up and take off wheel, Knock caliper, if you hear a clunking sound then that's the problem. you need to pull the bolts out and remove the grease rubber, cut a piece of rubber hose about one inch, push it into the end of the bolt then squeeze the caliper back on. Tip...use a screw driver and squeeze the piston in and it will be easy to re-install. the idea is to tighten the bolts.

Wow, great answer Torontocity. I had exactly the same issue with my 2004 Ody. I replaced the lower control arms and bushings/ball joint because they were worn. No change. I replaced the struts (at 240k but replaced once at 100k). Rode better, but still clunking over bumps or expansion gaps. really sounded like some suspension piece was about to fall off. A repair shop also suggested it could be my worn calipers, but I was hesitant because it sounded like a more substantial clunk/reverb rattle. But I followed the advice above and it quieted it down. So I just repalced them with RockAuto (Raybestos) and now it sounds like the van did 240k miles ago. Wohoo.
