My 2003 Odessey engine was destroyed in minutes after its tailpipe was plugged. HELP!

It's hard to tell what happened from your descriptions. We would need to know how the tailpipe got plugged, how the rod broke, etc. At this point, it seems like a visit to the mechanic is mandatory.
Did you hit the pipe on something and crush it? Pressure built up inside of your engine and could not escape. That is why you broke the rod.

Thank you, Guru from Flynt. The pipe was not crushed but it was completely plugged by mud from the bank it rammed into. Engine was never revved up high as it just stopped running. There was a solid thump as the pipe embedded in the bank. I'm sending this just in case anyone ever has a similar disaster, (or ever wonders how easy it would be to destroy a Honda van. There was no visible damage to the back and no one wanted to cover the $4K+ in damage. UGH!!
