Question type: General

Just got a message " Engine Hot/ AC off "  however temp gauge was still
In the cold zone. It turned off the AC motor... is it the AC or freon

There is no cold zone... the temp gauge should be below 1/2 or little above 1/2 when the engine is hot If it goes above that it’s running hot and it will shutdown anything that is generating heat. In order to cool the engine( AC generates a lot of heat under the hood) check and make sure the radiator fan is working and that there is no engine cooling concern
