in canada maybe, but its the same thing as an ex anywhere else
this is definately not an si in 02 -05 they only made a three door hatchback unless you live in england they made two different three door hatchbacks
i am in canada and this trim i have is an si veloz, with a D16Y1 vtec 1.7 litre engine. Veloz comes with a lip kit, carbon fiber dashbaord trim, and comes in only black.
it is still not a real si it is as the other person an ex that is in the states an 02 civic si came with a 2.0 L K20A3 engine that created 160 hp and 132 lb ft while yours only has a 1.7 L creating 146 hp and 127 lb ft so it is an ex with an si emblem it is not an si but if emblems make a car what it is then i am going to go right out and put a type r emblem on my 08 si sedan so then i will have a type r that isnt sold in america
well the engine is still a bit stronger than an ex's d17a2
there are diff Trims btween the Us and Canada, same cars tho, in US, the SI is the ugly Hatchback Civic that we call it SiR in Canada, in Canada, the SI is EX modle in US, so that is the diffrence, this car is a honda civic SI(Canada), EX(US)

it's also an SI here in asia but with a different engine, one similar with the 1.7 but i believe it's much less powerful than the latter... different areas have different trims and description because it depends on the availability of parts in the area and the classification of road cars too...
THATS AN SI THESE COMMENTS ARE RETARDED & THEY DO COME IN SILVER I HAVE ONE WITH 15" STOCK RIMS THE NOT 14" LIKE THE DX MODEL
Damn it's been ten years. I now drive a Celsior
