My 2001 Honda Accord's shift lock won't come undone unless I stick a key in the release, my friend says that it looks like my stop light switch might not be working properly, is this why my brake lights don't work and my shift is locking?

I have a 2000 Honda Accord v-6 with 66,000 miles. I cannot get the button on the shift lever to work properly. It will not let me shift out of park.

My Honda Accord has no instruments working, no power windows, shifter park lock stuck, no power sunroof...fuses are good....wtf...this seems to happen to lots of accords between 94- 2002.....seen 20 of same problem....no real solution....car runs great......does any body have the real answer ...it's almost seems like a power supply relay or bad fuse panel......had a corvette that did this shit and cost me thousands until a really smart technician took some wire out of the fuse box and inline fused the power control module , basically taking the power supply to fuse panel and externally fusing it....the f,?king dealer charged me 3000 and changed all kinds of computer / pcmodules , intrsument clusters etc.......it simply needed a 15 amp fuse for pcm to be bypass out of fuse panel.....Des anybody know the answer ....this is so common on 90,s accords.....changed ignition switch electrical, fuses, checked grounds.....
