I'am considering purchasing a 1500 crew not sure if it will be LS or LT. But I dont think it really matters for this topic. It will be the 5.3L V8 4wd.  I'am just wondering its MPGS in the CITY and HWY that current owners are getting right now.Also is it really worth it to be a flex fuel.  I'am also considering a Nissan Titan, or Toyota Tundra. But I am leaning more towards the Silverado because of the warranty and their advertised mpg over the nissan and toyota.

According to fueleconomy.gov the best you can expect is around 14/20. It is supposed to get 10/15 on E85.
