Loss of power after warm up

Asked by 19941987 May 05, 2017 at 02:28 AM about the 1999 Honda Accord

Question type: General

I have a 99 honda accord with v6. After driving
awhile it will lose power while maintaining speed.
But will regain power for few seconds then lose
power again. But while accelerating it has power
and doesn't lose any. The throttle body doesn't
look gummed. Could the tps be getting hot and
breaking down?

scan for codes even if the light ain't on , you could test the TPS or replace it and get no where , look for loose or cracked vacuum lines or hoses, test the EGR , see if the accelerate and kick down cables are free and not binding , let us know what happens
