now this is a dream car, sleak design and a few ponies under the hood

this car has some strange shifting times, great horespower, crappy torque

I had the oportuntiy to drive an R8 (and RS4) at Sears Point last year, brilliant car. You can read about it here: http://web.me.com/arnaldob/acarguy/Blog/Entries/2007/9/14_Driving_the_Audi_r s4_and_the_brilliant_r8._.html

the gf's dad has this in gray everytime i go to the house i just sit in the garage and stare at it, it's a truly beautiful car. sidenote, i've seen several GT-R's in my area. not so hot.

nice, no doubt.. the Audi's sexy, the Vantage sleek (but hey, an Aston is an Aston), and the M6 allow my kids to be in the car while still delivering... Top speed with them at 187?!! 155 will do.

it really is pretty and a nice engine to boot. it's not my favorite, nor would i buy one, but i won't argue about the looks, and the engine is strong but it's just not for me

I'd like the V8 TDI. That's the only one I'd take. Reviews have said that the V12 is a bit too much for the car to handle. But this car does look amazing, however. I really love the Christmas headlights and that side panel that just doesn't conform to the rest of the vehicle. It just adds to the touch that this is not an Italian sports car. It's a German piece of machinery... in good 'ol German style. The kind only a "großmutter" could love.

this has to be the most beautiful piece of machinery i have seen in my life

Totally overpriced, its a Lamborghini without the flair and badge snobbery. Who would rather have an Audi (lonely German cement salesman car) over a Lambo (flashy attractive Italian car)?

it is realy good car.but its a litle bit expensiv.but its the perfect cheap super car,and i`d like to see in production the diesel prototype with the 4.2 V12

An elegant sports car, would have been cooler if the lights were completely LED'd (as concept was) Who cares about not being faster than a GT-R, its all about the V8 howl and a fun-to-drive package Cannot wait for verdict of 12cyl-D engine application

will be having one of these soon with the led lights not me but my son lucky boy

man i love this car. i would love to do the audi driving expience so i can drive one of these! and to pyromaster muaddib: first of all thats pretty cheap for a super car. second if anything a lambo is an audi since audi owns them, and pretty much the only thing the audi has in common with it is the stearing wheel, other than that, audi styling, audi drive train, audi engine (same one as in the rs4) third "a german cement salesman"? hmmm where have i heard that before? oh yeah clarkson said the exact same thing on top gear.... nice

I do like the R8 for sure but thats so sick when that porshe come sliding in sideways at like 100 mph!

its true Clarkson said it, its in the video, and I totally agree with him. Audi's aren't exciting and a cheap super car is the GTR, and if you want to drive it find an Audi dealership and go for a test drive, they'll let you even if you aren't interested in buying it. It looks like a TT on steroids, Germans dont do style well and super cars are all about style... unless your want performance and then go with the GTR, its a much better car all around and cheaper.

I love it. Its a beautiful car showcasing what a balanced supercar is. I can't wait till the V10 comes out .

no doubt its a great car.....it even beats its sister, the gallardo
