i was wondering when the timing belt brakes on the honda passport, if there is any damage to
the engine? anything to do with valves getting bent?

Most HONDA's are zero clearance motors

Yes chances are it is a interferance engine, it could bend a valve, and or put a hole in the piston.

Lets put it this way. Replaces them when they need to be replaced and hope and pray it doesnt break.

Honda passports aren't honda engines but isuzu, therefore it doesn't have nothing to do with honda, just the name, engines in the isuzu rodeo and honda passports have same engine, and they are non-interference.
