Debating purchasing a 98 Honda Accord

Asked by Danielle Jan 20, 2021 at 11:50 AM about the 1998 Honda Accord

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

It has 322,000 miles on it but they said everything
works and they're asking 900. I'm sure I could talk
them down to 700 or so. Would this be worth my
time? I know Accords can go a long time but this
is quite high mileage.

Can you afford to throw away $900? If so you can take a chance. I wouldn't but you can.

At this point it could drop dead tomorrow or you might get a year or two out of it. If you're looking for a second vehicle, a vehicle to hold you over for a while, or a teenager's first car, and you can get it for the $700, I say go for it. If you get six months out of it you've got your money's worth. Hope that helps! Jim
