Is 262k good decent miles for a 98 honda accord

Well I would not pay much for it if that is what you mean or if I think it could go farther I would say yes, are you just saying it has that many miles I"d say great put another 100k miles on it and if not already done get ready to have to put new axles and front wheel bearings and timing belt on it soon and do not let it run hot.
