I have a 1998 honda civic hx...and we just had to replace the distributor...got the new one installed and now it is idling really rough and has a lot of vibration....any ways to fix this issue?

Mechanic told me that all the car need was a new distributor so i ordered one to
install...got it in and installed and now there is a lot of vibration and it is idling
very roughly and as soon as you drop it into gear and move it dies...I just dont
understand why!Any help out there?

Make sure you have firing order right. If you do pull distributor back out and change the piece that locks in head. Knock the holder pin out and then rotate and install pin and reinstall distributor
