1996 Honda Civic DX 2dr
want to wire neon sticks to a light switch
having problems
switch stays on when car is off
neon lights don't turn on, even when the switch is on

ok, theres a few ways that you can hook up neons in a car and many different sources for power. on some cars,( im not sure about yours) power only flows to some outlets when the ignition is on and it is cut when ignition is off. if you want to make sure the lights turn on at any time make sure your using a 12v source that is constantly on via a voltmeter. or the easy way is to run a wire direct from the battery to your switch then from the switch to the light. just make sure that you have the light properly grounded. if you still have trouble message me and we'll figure this out.
