Very hard to say. It will depend on how well it was maintained and how it was driven. All I can is is if you are looking at buying a used one, buy a low mile car.

Had a 2004 Kia Sorento LX 4×4 from 2005 to 2012. I put 283,000+ miles on it. Absolutely no issues but minor stuff.. like ball joints, wheel bearing, 1 tune up. I totalled it out in a rollover. I miss my truck. Have had 2013 Kia Optima EX since the end of 2012.....i have only put a starter and struts, and tires.. no issues.

I have a 2015 Kia sportage with 77,000 miles on it...I travel 100 miles + a day back and forth to work and was beginning to get worried that I should think about selling it, but would like to say it has never had any issues...I can see from these posts I'm in good shape, I've been maintaining my Kia at the Kia dealership at all the recommended mileage services times...I think I'll keep my Kia or trade it in for a new Kia instead of getting a different make. thanks.

I have a 2008 Sportage LX (V6) with 138,000. Have had numerous issues with the a/c which is exacerbated by the fact that we live in Fl and need the a/c! I'd like to get 200,000 miles out of it because I believe a well-made vehicle should provide that. We've been meticulous with the maintenance but have truly not had good luck. We'll see about the 200,000.

I have a 2012 Kia Sportage , just threw a rod at 130,000 miles . It was well maintained but I learned the 2011-2013 Kia's had problems with engine machining , that caused problems with irregular engine ware. Though it has been a good car my next one will be a Subaru Forester .

I bought a 2006 Sportage new and now have. 238 thousand miles on it. When it had a hundred thousand I was so impressed I went and sold Kias for a while. I then learned of all of the great stories of super high miles and people that have passed their car down through the family. Best to use synthetic oil and change it regular maybe five to seven thousand miles at the most. Looking to replace this Kia with another one perhaps a Sorento.

I have 2010 kia forte with 231,000 miles, mostly highway miles. Bought the car when it had 70,000 miles on it. In four years I added the current mileage and only changed the oil probably four times. I was hard on it and never really did any maintenance on it. Still, never had a problem with it and it still runs like a champ.

I had purchased a new 2014 Kia Sorento and did all the recommended scheduled maintenance only to still have the engine blow up at 178,000 miles. I was informed by the Kia dealer that the piston arm broke and I would need a new engine. Because Kia doesn't sell engines that are pre-assembled the labor needed to assemble the motor, pull the old and install the new motor, would be about $7,000 which was more than the vehicle value. I now understand now why it's next to impossible to find a Sorento's for sale that is ten years old for sale. In addition they don't hold there value so for me I will not buy another Kia product again. Hopefully my new Toyota will last longer and maintain a better resale value than Kia.

I have a 2009 kia Spectra EX and have over 280,000 miles on it. I have replaced the blower motor and front struts and rear struts but other than that it has been a decent little car. Even in the snow :)

we have a 2018 Kia Sportage purchased in Sept 2017 so it will be 2 years this coming month and it's at 96,000k. we did not ge t the extended warranty and are wondering if we should???? it's expensive... Seeing all the comments about high mileage makes me happy!! I am thinking we should save the $2-$3k price of the insurance and if the car has an issue then we just pay for it... what do you think?

2017 Kia Sorento, 104,000 Kms and the engine literally melted down. The dealer refused to pay towing, give a loaner car, and charged me $700 for a new starter. The sales spent most of my time trying to sell me another one. Covered by warranty due to recall for defective engines related to improperly heated treated crankshaft. New engine installed. Kia mass produces junk that appears to be good at point of sale. They don’t stand behind their product. Join the class action lawsuit and avoid Kia products PERIOD

My sister's Sportage (2008?) has over 350,000 on it! She has just recently had a problem with one of the catalytic converters, but it has been a very dependable car for her. She would like to get a new Kia, but can't afford one right now so she still makes sure to maintain hers. She can't say enough good things about Kia. So much so, we bought our son a used Soul, which we all love to drive as it is a manual.

I have a 2016 Kia Sportage Diesel GT Line, roughly do around 60,000 Klm p/annum, almost at 230,000 klms now and its been an awesome car, never missed a beat, have it serviced every 15,000 klms. Very happy with the car.

I have a 2015 diesel sportage, only done 45000 miles, serviced at main dealers, just had to have clutch and fly wheel replaced, front pads and discs replaced at 25000 miles and need pads again on front, rear still only 50% worn. Car had 15000 on clock when I brought it, could say disappointed especially seeing 2 months out of warranty.

I have a 2012 Kia Forte. Just went past 200,000 miles. Needs struts now. All original except for AC compressor which I replaced at 175,000 miles.
