Look for a switch on your dashboard used to make your dash lights dim. It rotates up or down and If that switch is turned up or down as far as it will go (not sure which) you will feel a click at the end of its travel and that turns on the interior lights; then they will stay on until you move the switch in the opposite direction. If that's the solution, don't feel bad. Many other people including myself found this out the hard way.
