closing my hood doe'snt lock hood. hood release doesnt seem to be connected. ant alternative way to lock hod?

Hi elmer, You could tie it down just to get a short distance at very minimal speed. Beyond that I would fix the locking mechanism or your hood could fly up and smash your windshield. Or worse it could damage someone elses car/truck and then you'll have to deal with an insurance claim. Good luck!

replace the latch , its a 15 to 25 doller part at a junk yard depending on witch one you go to.
