what could be wrong with a 1992 Honda Accord that when it gets hot slows and stops running, unable to accelerate Must stop and wait until I can start again.

check coolant levels, check oil level and make sure your fan is working

your coolant/ engine thermostat which allows coolant to flow at a certain rated of temperature, it may need to be changed.
