That's no coincidence. You car has an oil-pressure shut off switch. But may I ask, it it text "oil pressure low' or the old oil-can with a drip at the spout icon? The 2010 Corolla has an oil-quantity warning in text "oil level;. for low quantity, and the icon for pressure. But that is going to be on regardless with key on and engine not running. It's supposed to do that. Now, you just 'put in new oil' how much? TOO much can and will cause low oil pressure and shut the engine down until fixed. It holds 4.2 quarts with filter. Let,s begin there, ok?
And what trim is your Corolla, CE, LE, S...and 1.8 or 2.4? How long did you go between oil-changes?
Engine sludge (excessive) may caused the so-called "oil low pressure".
my corrolla 2010 1.6, i will take it in for check-up in engine sludge. What I dont understand is that it has just been serviced
Are you in the USA? All Corollas in North America in 2010 have either a 1.8L or 2.4L. Have you been keeping up on oil-changes and using synthetic 0W20? And a decent filter? If so it's not sludge
How do you fix this problem drain the oil and put new oil
