I have a 2001 Toyota corolla and the oil light is on but I checked oil and it is full. The car is not making any noise. What could be the issue

Probably the oil pressure sensor or oil level sensor. It's not overfilled, is it? If you overfill the oil, it can cause the oil pressure to rise too high

Fact of the matter is if it is over -full. the crankshaft will dip into the oil in the pan and whip it in to a foam like a blender..... and by doing so LOWER the oil pressure because the oil pump can't pick up the thin mix of motor oil, it has no 'substance' to it, only air and foam.
