Yes. But your defrost will not be as effective. The AC blows dry air and that helps.

As long as it,s only to ac,not anything else like power steering or water pumps,etc.

And Bmark is correct,ac dehumidifie,s the wind shield,to help keep it clear,the ac doe,s this.

You can just disconnect the connection on the compressor. A lot easier.

Morning T_S_T. I had a Ford F350 + Expedition that had the AC on all the time. I pulled the connection off of the compressor. It didn't help the fuel economy at all.

Does the belt run the water pump? Bc the compresser runs constanly and the bearings are bad in the pump and it makes noise

Go look at the AC belt and see what else, if anything, that belt operates then get back to us.

The only thing that belt goes around is th crankshat pully
