I have a 2003 VW Jetta that runs fine except sometimes it will not shift from 1st into 2nd. It's an automatic. I've taken it to the dealer and a mechanic. Dealer said new transmission $5000. The mechanic put a cleaner in the fluid but nothing works. A code came up for TCM however, they said it was not that. It runs great when it runs but you never know when it will do it. Any ideas? Ok.. So, Still not getting heat in my 91 Jetta. Heater core is good, flushed it out, all thed lines in the engine compartment are hot and circulating great, new water pump and thermostat is working. Vacuum lines have good air flow. Thinking maybe the air filter box flap may not be working correctly.. Any ideas? 2 Answers
