Fuel pump just replaced now broken down.

He replaced the fuel pump. Drove about 15 miles.
Stopped and put gas in the car. Went to crank and
leave and the car sputtered twice then died. What
other things can we check for?

If it ran good before filling the fuel tank I would suspect the vapor purge solenoid has a problem and may be stuck open causing the engine to be flooded with fuel vapor. Is the check engine light on? Did it start later on? How many miles are on the vehicle?
