Car Lock Replacement

Asked by Guru9YPCY2 Feb 08, 2021 at 08:33 PM about the 2010 Subaru Impreza

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

My car keys were stolen, and I would like to know if it's possible to change my
car lock and reprogram? I don't want the old ones to work. Do I go to a car
dealership or lock smith? What terminology do I used to get it replaced? Does
anyone know a rough estimate? Do I also have to change the ignition?

Keys stolen in neighborhood. Worried the thief will come back and steal the
car, currently parking it in a garage but is a hassle.

Ask a locksmith if they can handle the job. You could just replace the door locks or for better security replace all of them.
