Often when batteries die they can short out the terminal wires to starter power wire and/or frame ground wire may be bad. Check your fuses under dash & hood for bad fuses to get the radio & dinger going. Look for bad battery terminal wires & terminal connectors to battery for corrosion, melted looking, frayed ect, sometimes the insulation hides the true condition of the internal wire, also have the battery load tested and alternator if battery died while driving or running the engine, May try to use a jumper box to crank it up or jumper cables.

Other possible issues is the ignition switch or Starter solenoid, basically the starter and solenoid as most often they are replaced as a unit.
