Had a timing belt replaced in 2010 accent few days later the engine light came on Is
there something that was disconnected  and forgot to reconnected

Really do not think so but who ever you had do the job may have left something off. Best thing to do is have the code or codes read to see exactly what the problem is. Most part stores will read your codes for free.
