Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 01 Hyundai Elantra and my catalytic
converter fell off last nite an just last week my ce
light was off for about a week an just 2 days ago it
came back on. It drives fine just a little loud from a
hole being in the exhaust somewhere but I don't
know what to do. Can someone point me in the
right direction please and thank you???

For what you are paying for a new catalytic converter Your hard earned money would be better spent on a down payment on a new 2017 elantra with 10 years of worry free driving thanks to the new warranty. New hyundais have greatly improved since 2007 and with gas prices skyrocketing back to 4 bucks a gallon you might want to consider a new Hyundai IONIQ with mpgs in the mid 50s.
