I hav 2010 vw beetle i cannot turn on the ignition how i can turn?

I cannot turn on my vw beetle

Try wiggling the steering wheel back and forth while turning key (gently, forcing it won't solve anything) or try another key

Just completed one with the same issue,,,,, went fishing in lock cylinder with straightend out paper clip, with a short leg bent on one end( about 3/32 long) pulled out several clumps of pocket fuzz, flushed with wd 40 and blew out with high pressure air, working fine know. You need to keep turning the wheel back and forth while at the same time turning the key; play with it, it will take a few tries. Be patient, it'll work. I had this happen a few times with my car. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just that the wheel gets locked - a safety feature. Mine is VW New Beetle Turbo, love it.
