key stuck in ignition in 97 ford thunderbird

personally would not use grease....that guy has no understanding...powdered graphite...like from a pencil...grease...dirt magnet...that guy means trouble...but the hole at the 6 'o clock position will release the thing....thank you for reminding us about that one....honestly take that one with a grain of graphite~

thinking now it's at the 8 o'clock position (from lookin' at the wheel)~

small screwdriver or hat pin should do the trick~

Mine was doing the same thing, I just took it out of park then put it back again, it started up just fine
