Shows I am not a car guru. Leak in rear passenger foot space on Buick Regal

if it is not a convertible, the water is coming in through a bad window seal or door seal- is it leaking while sitting? not while driving- it is not guru magic, the water is really there and it is getting in somewhere in that area around where you find it- you could try sitting in the back while it rains so you can track it down for sure-
Do you have a sun roof? If so, there are two drain holes in the corners of the sunroof opening. Make sure they are free of dirt. If plugged, water goes into the car. Have you checked the drivers side carpet? Does that remain dry?
The taillights.. One of the bulbs has Probly went out and had to be changed, there is a gromet that w small ball barb pushes into, if its not line up you will push grommet tgri hole.. All the water off back end of car flows down behind taillights , so you can imagine the amount coming in.. Then when you drove the wind comes in same way only it cause a forceful updraft or wind current towards front of car, this is how water is soaking floorboard..I have a 2012 regal gs, just fixed exact problem..
GuruXG1QR, can you please elaborate more on this? I have a 2015 Regal GS and I also have noticed moisture inside my car. It always seems to be after rain and only found in the back seat driver side floor board. I never would have guessed it could be coming from the tail lights. Any additional insight would be Awesome. Thanks!!
I have a Buick Regal 2015 and my trunk keeps getting water in it. Do anybody knows how this happens
2013 buick regal 2.0t rear driver floor boards soaked after rain. Not running, I can hear water drip, inside but cannot locate a source. So I looked at what others were saying. I found my rear seat cushion was sitting on water too(I took whole bottom cushion out and appears to be coming from the trunk after all. I opened the trunk and watched water run from rear window down around seals and directly into the rear druver side tail light. But.. Due to heavy rain and Im parked outside with no cover from rain, thats as far as I got.
