HOW MANY SENSORS

When I start the car it jumps like it's choking it feels like it's bouncing back and forth and like the car is literally choking it runs for a few seconds and it shuts off. I am unable to put it in drive before it shuts off if I press on the gas and rev the engine it works fine the minute it comes down to an idle the car shuts off. I am being told that two sensors are malfunctioning and need to be replaced one is the air sensor and I'm trying to figure out which the other one is so that I can check around for pricing for the parts
