Hello, I am doing a auto to manual swap on my 87 e30 M20.  The donor car is a 86 e30 M20.  I need all the info I can get and Pics if you have any, thanks.  My main concern is the electrical part, I hear it is minor but location helps for the revers lights.

^^Like he said, check out E30tech.com or R3vlimited.com. Both have threads with parts lists dedicated to this swap. It's easy all the way though. The most tedious part is hanging the pedals, because it's a bit awkward lying in the floor or twisting to get to some of the fasteners. The reverse light electrical work is as simple as plugging in a harness that came on factory 5-speed E30's, iirc. The harness is on top of the tranny tunnel under the console in the car. Pull one at the boneyard. I've done a bunch of these, but it has been a while. Enjoy it!
