The highest hp 88 BMW M series only pulled 192 hp. I believe the stock 325 (not the fuel injected 325i) was around 150-160hp.

In 1988 all bmws where fuel injected. the 325i had about 170 horsepower. it might be a little different in us, because its a different norm of meassuring the power. the torque is 222Nm (which is 164 lbf ft).

An 88 E30 325 when new, made around 167-169 hp, (Germany's DIN standard) at the crank. Many factors may play such as engine age and/or modifications.
