E34 BMW losing oil, burning on manifold. Have had rocker gasket replaced. Any ideas?

E34 BMW losing oil, burning on manifold. Have had rocker gasket replaced. Any ideas?

Depends on the motor, is it the m20 motor? if so probably one of the manifold gaskets

Hi Mark, thanks for responding. It's a 2001 E34 2.2 litre. Would that be an M20? I've read in a few forums about the oil filter gasket? What do you think?

its a common problem in the BMW's around that year with the gaskets, do a leak test, should be able to fine it easily
